The Listening Lounge: a critique of reason, 2017
Exhibited at UWAG in Waterloo, ON; Malaspina Printmakers in Vancouver, BC
The Listening Lounge: a critique of reason is an interactive art project originally exhibited at the University of Waterloo Art Gallery in 2017. The work consists of a textile sculpture and lounge that houses our podcast Unpolished and Unprepared.
The lounge is constructed using industrial cardboard that we digitally rendered and "printed" on a CNC cutter, framed by a large digital print on linen. The podcast consists of a series of impromptu conversations, hastily recorded, reaching a broad range of topics with a heavy focus on existentialism.
In 2017 (fall) a portion of this project was exhibited at Malaspina Printmakers in Vancouver, BC.
